As a volunteer Group Leader for the Sammen om en jobb community, you will foster engagement and collaboration by moderating a dedicated group on the digital platform and leading discussions during monthly network meetings, sharing resources like job opportunities and event links while encouraging meaningful connections. For those who wish to contribute further, there are opportunities to participate in other groups, organize events, promote the organization, and represent it at conferences, making this role ideal for individuals passionate about community building and cultural integration. In addition to gaining valuable experience in community management, problem-solving, and organizational skills, you’ll expand your professional network, boost your confidence, and find personal fulfillment in empowering others. More specifically, as a volunteer group leader, you can expect to:
Expand your professional network: As a group leader you’ll have a interacting with other from your field, both mentors, mentees and others.
Strengthen your CV: When finishing, you’ll receive a personalized reference letter from Sammen om en jobb.
Strengthen your skills: - develop your ability to lead and inspire diverse groups, gain practical experience in digital community management and effective cross-cultural communication, and expand your cultural understanding while building global connections through meaningful interactions.

Tasks
Core Tasks:
Moderate a group in the digital platform - engage with members by responding to comments, facilitating discussions, and sharing relevant resources such as event links, articles, and job vacancies.
Moderate a breakout session during the monthly network meetings - lead and support discussions, ensuring a productive and inclusive environment.
Optional Tasks:
Organize and lead your own events - organize your own events with guidance from the Sammen om en jobb team.
Promote and represent Sammen om en jobb - help expand Sammen om en jobb's network by spreading awareness and representing the organization at conferences, meetings, and other arenas.
Engage and connect across digital groups - actively participate in other groups in the digital platform to foster connections and share insights.
