Mentor Program in Rogaland
- connecting people to create value -
Sammen om en jobb’s mentor program in Rogaland was kicked off in September 2022. The program connects skilled immigrant job seekers with mentors from the local workforce who share a similar industry background.
Our mentor program in Rogaland delivers 40 mentor-mentee matches per year. We support a more diverse and equitable workforce and contribute to bridging the skills gap.
In 2022, approximately 30 % of the mentees found relevant work in the program period.
In 2023, 37% found relevant work: In Equinor, at British International School Stavanger, NATO, Aider, OKEA, Baker Hughes, eDrilling, and Dynamo Analytics, to name a few.

Networking and collaboration partners
One of our candidates’ main challenges is a lack of social capital and network. We strive to facilitate connections and act as bridgebuilders. Our collaboration partners contribute enormously to this work.
We currently run mentor programs in collaboration with Sval Energi and Worley Rosenberg in Rogaland:
Sval Energi’s 2023 program connected 11 mentees and 10 mentors over 6 months. After the mentoring period, 7 of 11 candidates had found a relevant job, and 11 of 11 candidates had gained new insights into the job-seeking process.
